In 2019 I started a series A PORTRAIT A DAY in oil pastels. Celebrating the people that inspire me, artists, writers, designers, musicians, political and historical figures, friends. I continued this practice through 2022. During Covid i drew my friends in their masks, documenting their resiliency and creativity in a time of fear and uncertainty. I continue to commemorate individuals that inspire me. This is a selection from over 1000 portraits I’ve created since 2019.
